Ramboll Natura awarded MSEK 59 contract in Vietnam


STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Oct. 27, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Ramboll Natura has been contracted by Sida to support the recently established Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment to develop and integrate the environment and land administration sectors in Vietnam. The contract sum is MSEK 59.

The Programme aims to improve capacity at national, provincial and local levels to address pollution and other environmental issues and to provide efficient land administration services, including land registration, land information, land use planning and land valuation.

Ramboll Natura, in a consortium with Department of Land Information, Government of Western Australia, has subcontracted two Vietnamese companies and two international companies. About 40 people will be engaged by the programme, of which half are Vietnamese specialists. The programme will start in late 2004 and run for five years.
