BALTIMORE, Md., Nov. 30, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- View Systems, Inc. (OTCBB:VYST), a frontline security and surveillance company, today announced a multi-unit order of the Visual First Responder to G.P.C. a Joint Venture -- a contractor and procurer of equipment and technology for the United States Coast Guard.
The United Stated Coast Guard is one of the Nations five armed services that the Department of Homeland Security's official web site regards, "As the nation's 'maritime first responder,' the Coast Guard serves as a crucial and responsive element of the Department of Homeland Security. Its well-trained crews react to a wide variety of maritime disasters, such as plane crashes, groundings, bridge and waterway accidents, and other maritime calamities." The first Visual First Responder will be used by the Coast Guard's Strike Force Teams who are nationally stationed around the country.

The VFR, which is the premier wireless, live, first responder video system available, is also now being scrutinized for further development. This could result in the addition of several new markets for the VFR such as S.W.A.T., bomb squads and collapsed structure or urban search and rescue.
