Court hearings conclude; eSpeed has no patent infringement case against OMX Technology

STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Feb. 23, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- As announced in 2003, OMX Technology in its capacity as software supplier to BrokerTec, a US electronic fixed income marketplace, is among those that eSpeed has sued in a US court for alleged patent infringement. The district court hearings are now concluded and resulted in, among other things, that the patent infringement case against OMX Technology would not be tried. This means that OMX Technology faces no liability claims.

OMX Technology intends to continue to defend its position should eSpeed appeal the court's decision.
