PlanetLink Communications Licenses Sales of TransTRAK to Its Development Partner Karta Technologies, Inc.

Non-Exclusive License to Karta Creates New Revenue Opportunities for PlanetLink and Wider Distribution for TransTRAK


CUMMING, Ga., March 1, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- In an effort to expand and accelerate distribution of its TransTRAK(tm) GPS Fleet Management products, PlanetLink Communications Inc. (OTCBB:PLKC), a provider of satellite-based products and services, announced today that it has reached a licensing agreement with Karta Technologies, Inc. PlanetTraks is forging ahead with its own marketing and sales strategy, which will be complemented by Karta's efforts. Karta currently leads the Research and Development effort for PlanetLink's GPS-based products and services and will continue to act as the Company's primary R&D provider.

In accordance with the newly signed licensing agreement, Karta Technologies has been granted a two-year non-exclusive license to market TransTRAK(tm) worldwide, excluding markets where the Company has already granted exclusive licenses to other distributors.
