MALMO, Sweden, March 31, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Telelogic (Stockholm Exchange:TLOG), the leading global provider of solutions for advanced systems and software development, today announced it has signed a 830,000 EUR license, maintenance and professional service agreement with a European government's atomic research agency. A minor part of the contract value is related to professional services.
The four-year agreement will see Telelogic DOORS, Telelogic DOORS XT, Telelogic TAU Generation 2 and Telelogic SYNERGY adopted as standard for the company's requirements management, change and configuration management, and systems and software modeling.
Telelogic DOORS, which is already a corporate standard, will see further uptake through the addition of Telelogic DOORS XT. Telelogic SYNERGY, following a successful project implementation, is also added to the standard. Telelogic TAU Generation 2 is in addition added as standard following a rigorous competitive and independent analyst lead evaluation. Telelogic's Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) solution will enable the customer to lower cost, improve quality and demonstrate compliance.
"The customer segment 'Government Organizations' is a continuously growing segment for Telelogic," said Anders Lidbeck, President and CEO of Telelogic, "and we are very proud to have received this vote of confidence from this European Government Agency in their choice of Telelogic's ALM solution and related services to help them continually improve their development processes."
* ALM -- Application Lifecycle Management is an approach to management of advanced software and systems during their entire lifecycle, comprising collection and analysis of requirements, design of software, test, and change -- and configuration management.
