LUND, Sweden, April 11, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- In preparation for Anoto Group AB Annual General Meeting on May 11, 2005 Anoto Group's nomination committee has decided to propose that the Meeting re-elect current Board members Kjell Duveblad, Christer Fahraeus, David Henry, Martha Josefsson and Nils Rydbeck and that Lars Gronberg, Lars Jarnryd and Orjan Johansson be elected as new members.
Board members Lars Berg, Urban Jansson and Jan Uddenfeldt have declined re-election.
The Nomination Committee proposes that Christer Fahraeus be appointed Board Chairman and that Lars Jarnryd be appointed Deputy Board Chairman. The Nomination Committee further proposes that the remuneration to the Board members remains unchanged i.e. SEK 1 200 thousand. SEK 250 thousand to the Chairman, SEK 200 thousand to the Deputy Chairman and SEK 150 thousand to other members of the Board. It is proposed that no fee be paid to Orjan Johansson since he is employed by the Company.
The Nomination Committee's proposed election process for next year's nominating committee (prior to the AGM 2006 in Anoto Group AB) will be published in the notification of the Annual General Meeting 2005.
The Nomination Committee, comprising Ingegerd Borg (Ericsson -- Chairman of the Committee), Christer Fahraeus (Chairman of the Board), Bernard Gander (Logitech), Jesper Lyckeus (Capital Research Global Investors) and Britt Reigo (Robur), represent not less than 45% of the capital and votes in Anoto Group AB.
Lars Gronberg
Lars Gronberg has many years experience in leading positions in printing, technology and service and has held previous positions as CEO at Rank Xerox (Sweden), TeleDenmark (Denmark), Intrum Justitia (The Netherlands), Tele2 (Sweden) and as Executive Vice President at Kinnevik and Procordia Group. Lars Gronberg is a member of the board at Precise Biometrics (chairman), Bindomatic (chairman), Cambio Health Care Systems (chairman), PSI Group ASA and Connecta (chairman).
Lars Jarnryd
Lars Jarnryd has close to 30 years experience from leading international positions with emphasis on marketing and sales. He has previously held the position of CEO of Ericsson France and of Ericsson Business System (USA) as well as Chairman of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce.
Orjan Johansson
Orjan Johansson, EVP Business Development in Anoto Group. Orjan Johansson has previously served as CEO of Anoto Group and Chairman of Anoto Group until the appointment as CEO. Orjan Johansson has more than 20 years industrial experience and has in executive positions been working with systems and product development as well as the creation of international standards in companies such as SattControl (presently ABB), Rockwell (USA), TAC and Ericsson where he was responsible of creating the Bluetooth standard.
