ASHEVILLE, N.C., April 15, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Homeland Integrated Security Systems, Inc. (Pink Sheets:HISC) is pleased to announce that they have signed an agreement with Arcom Control Systems, Inc., to exclusively produce the third generation Cyber Tracker. Arcom, which is a subsidiary of the UK group Spectris plc (LSE:SXS) is one of the leading international suppliers in embedded computer and communications processors.
The new Cyber Tracker unit will be the first non-telephony product to utilize the IO200 board by Motorola (NYSE:MOT) iDEN. The modem enables the use of the Direct Connect features on the Nextel (Nasdaq:NXTL) network. The new Cyber Tracker will utilize a "Viper Lite embedded PCB", which will give the Cyber Tracker virtually "real time" tracking functionality.
