Homeland Integrated Security Systems Retains Former Nextel Executive

ASHEVILLE, N.C., May 17, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Homeland Integrated Security Systems, Inc. (Pink Sheets:HISC) is thrilled to announce that it has retained Adam S. Clough, a former Nextel Executive, as the new Vice President of Corporate Development.

Mr. Clough has over 13 years of experience in the wireless industry. He was instrumental in launching Verizon, SunCom, and Nextel in "Top 50 markets". Mr. Clough has broad experience in marketing, merchandising, and retail store management. Homeland Integrated Security also plans on using Mr. Clough's extensive experience in negotiating market-wide contracts and acquisitions.

"We are very proud to welcome Adam Clough to our team. We believe his experience will be a true asset when we introduce the Cyber Tracker to the retail market," says Frank Moody, President/CEO of Homeland Integrated Security Systems, Inc.

Homeland Integrated Security recently announced that they entered into an agreement with ActSoft, a Tampa-based GPS Software Company, to provide both Web-based and client-based GPS software applications for HISC's patent pending Cyber Tracker. Homeland Integrated Security management expects sales to exceed $125 million over the next three years. Homeland Integrated Security will be providing the first 'Push-To-Talk,' tamper-proof unit available on a mass-distribution basis at an affordable cost.

Homeland Integrated Security utilizes the Motorola (MOT) IO-200 Board exclusively in their Cyber Tracker. In addition to ActSoft's Web-based Comet Tracker software, the multi-platform board will allow HISC to begin International retail sales in 2006. About Homeland Integrated Security Systems:
