INDIANAPOLIS, June 3, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- ATA Airlines, Inc., the principal subsidiary of ATA Holdings Corp. (Pink Sheets:ATAHQ), today reported that May jet scheduled service traffic decreased 49.8 percent from 2004 to 509.2 million RPMs (revenue passenger miles). Capacity decreased 46.5 percent compared to 2004 to 773.5 million ASMs (available seat miles). ATA's May jet scheduled service passenger load factor decreased 4.3 points to 65.8 percent. There were 414,175 passengers enplaned in May, a decrease of 50.6 percent.
As of May 31, 2005, ATA has a jet fleet of 22 Boeing 737-800s, 6 Boeing 757-200s, 12 Boeing 757-300s and five Lockheed L-1011s.
