BlueBear Network Shines for the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police


OTTAWA, June 28, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- BlueBear Network International, Inc. (Pink Sheets:BLBR) announced today that its Canadian subsidiary, BlueBear Network Canada, had a very successful appearance at the annual meeting of the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP).

Over two days more than 20 detailed demonstrations where given resulting in requests for follow-up demonstrations from 10 police services large and small. All the attendees who were shown BlueBear's Integrated Digital Law Enforcement (IDLE) and Law Against Child Exploitation (LACE) systems recognized that they will be extremely helpful in rapidly identifying victims of crime and criminal suspects. They were equally impressed by how the products can fit into existing standard operating procedures making the transition to electronic biometric & text records search and information sharing that much easier.

The conference is an annual event during which a 100 or more of the 600 plus members, all past, present or honorary Police Chiefs and Senior Officers from throughout the province of Ontario, meet to discuss and review many issues common to managing today's complex police environment. As part of a two-day trade show attached to the meetings, BlueBear Network Canada demonstrated the strategic importance of its approach to information sharing and the use of Face Recognition, Automated Fingerprint Information Systems (AFIS).
