eWAN 1 to Acquire High Desert Wireless Broadband 'Next Generation' ISP Network

SANTA ANA, Calif., June 28, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- eWAN1, Inc. (Pink Sheets:EWAN), today announced that eWAN has signed a Letter of Intent to acquire High Desert Wireless Broadband Communications, LLC (HDWBC). Based in Mojave, California, three year-old HDWBC provides advanced data interconnectivity solutions to homes and businesses from the Tehachapi Mountains to the Mojave Desert, the location of Edwards Air Force base. Following EWAN's Due Diligence, the transaction is expected to close no later than August 15, 2005.

William J. Kettle, CEO of eWAN observed, "We are particularly pleased to join forces with one of the leading Wireless Broadband companies in Southern California as it fits our plans to roll out our wireless products and services throughout the state, and then nationally. Our unique bandwidth technology, coupled with High Desert's capability will strongly benefit our customers and bring new revenues to EWAN."

Chuck Moses, CEO of High Desert Wireless offered, "Our association with a proven telecommunications entity such as EWAN, conveys new technology and focused competition in what was traditionally SBC & Verizon-dominated territory. We are certain our established and new clientele will welcome the host of new Wireless connectivity services we will provide at a cost to them that will be significantly lower than other Broadband companies."

HDWBC's wireless system uses an adaptive Polling method system, unlike the standard Collision Detection used by others, allocating more time to those who are using it and less time to those who are away, creating a first line of defense against hackers and spies. Moreover, Polling allows for 30 percent more bandwidth than Wi-Fi.

EWAN specializes in broadband network solutions including high-speed Internet access, data, gaming, voice and video services, utilizing the most advanced network design and architecture in the industry, based on building its telecommunications network "on top" of major metropolitan fiber optic interconnection points within class 'A' carrier facilities, and by incorporating the fastest, most reliable, redundant and scalable hardware available. At present, EWAN is the only midsize ISP offering "wire-speed" networking in every device, at every access point.

HDWBC's (High Desert Wireless Broadband Communications) mission is to consistently be the most reliable provider of Internet connectivity in the rural areas stretching from the mountains of Tehachapi to the Desert of Mojave.
