Today it would like to clarify that the Stem Cell Industry Council, Inc. is a Domestic Nonprofit Corporation in the process of registering as a foreign entity in California consisting of a consortium of industry members for advancing the Stem Cell Industry. The previous release incorrectly stated that the Corporation is incorporated by California AND with the Department of Corporations instead of the Secretary of State.
Since launching just a few months ago, the 1-800-STEM-CELLS.COM website has received over 400,000 hits and its toll-free number part of an ongoing campaign to accelerate the awareness of Cord Blood Banking and the advancement of Stem Cell research and to connect patients with physicians. In addition the company has completed the final production of its Public Service Awareness Commercial which will target educating expectant parents.
