Munters on site in New Orleans

STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Sept. 12, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Munters has 60 people and nine trucks containing equipment stationed outside New Orleans standing by for the restoration work which now begins.

Munters is a leading supplier of services for water and fire damage restoration of private residences as well as industrial and commercial properties. Munters also has resources for restoration work in connection with natural disasters of the type which has now hit the Louisiana area.

"Many areas have not been accessible due to security reasons. People have not been concerned about mold, people have been desperate about their existence. Concurrently with the ability to enter the flooded areas, there is an increased demand for our services. We have work in progress now at several federal buildings, a casino in Biloxi and a theatre in Gulfport. We have also quoted our services to a number of schools and hospitals", says Lauren Reid, Manager of Munters MCS Division (Moisture Control Services) in the United States.

Presently there is also ongoing restoration work following the flooding which hit central Europe, in particular Switzerland, during August.

The total order value for both these disaster restoration work amounts so far to approxi-mately 35 MSEK.
