ROCKAWAY, N.J., Oct. 11, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- The Davis Center, the world's most comprehensive sound therapy center, is pleased to announce the Grand Opening of its new 15,000-square-foot facility at One Mannino Drive in Rockaway, NJ. The Center will be hosting a Grand Opening Celebration on October 16, 2005 between Noon and 5 PM and encourages all interested parties to attend.
The schedule of speakers includes Yamuna Zake, creator of Body Rolling(R), from 12-1 PM; Sharry Edwards, developer of BioAcoustics(TM), from 1-2 PM; Janine Burnham Ruth, noted Development Specialist, from 2-2:30 PM; Dorinne Davis, President/Founder of The Davis Center, from 3-4PM; and Peter Kline, noted educator and author, from 4-5 PM. Special dignitaries, Congressman Rodney Frelinghuysen and Rockaway Mayor Mary Lockwood, have also been invited to attend the Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony scheduled for 2:30 PM.
The Grand Opening will also feature presentations from The Davis Center's instructors, associate specialists and Founder. The day's festivities will include activities for both children and adults. Attendees will have an opportunity to experience various sound therapies, participate in Parent Discussion Panels, as well as receive an introduction to the Center's specialists and expanded service offerings. Discount coupons for future services will be available to all who attend.
The new facility will continue to offer sound therapies such as Auditory Integration Training, the Tomatis(R) Method, BioAcoustics(TM), and Fast ForWord(R). Complementary Services include music therapy, neurofeedback, and massage therapy in addition to new services to the Davis Center, such as tutoring, audiology, Read-Spell-Comprehend(R), Tomatis(R) for the Voice, and a sound relaxation bed. The 100-seat auditorium will host special events such as a Positive Parenting Series and other presentations on learning, development and wellness.
The Davis Center offers remedial or enhancement therapies that make positive changes in learning, development, and wellness issues. The Center uses a proprietary diagnostic test to suggest an appropriate therapy protocol to achieve maximum results. Through comprehensive sound therapy, symptoms associated with learning disabilities, autism, AD/HD, hypersensitivity to sound, auditory processing issues, dyslexia, and many wellness challenges have been helped.
