WOODLAND HILLS, Calif., Oct. 31, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Calling all werewolves, goblins and ghouls! Do you have a digital camera and an Internet connection? If so, PhotoSite wants a photo of you and your spooky friends for the first annual PhotoSite Halloween Costume Party!
PhotoSite, a part of the United Online family of companies, is hosting an online Halloween costume party in which members and non-members alike are encouraged to send in photos of themselves or their families decked out in their Halloween best. PhotoSite members who send in a photo can also enter the PhotoSite Halloween Costume Contest. The contest winner gets a free year-long PhotoSite Deluxe membership, with four runners-up receiving free prints.
"PhotoSite is a great place to be a part of a community," said Heidi Gibson, vice president, PhotoSite, "and we thought hosting a Halloween party would be a great way to build a sense of camaraderie around a special holiday. If you've got a great costume, this is a great way to show it off!"
To be a part of the costume party, participants simply select their favorite photo and attach it to an email addressed to community@photosite.com. They then type a title for the photo in the subject line and write a short description in the body of the email. Sending the email posts the photo automatically at http://community.photosite.com/HalloweenParty. All images can viewed separately or as part of a spooky slideshow.
To enter the costume contest, PhotoSite members just need to write "Costume Contest Entry" in the body of the email. For contest eligibility and other information, please see contest rules at http://www.photositenews.com/rules_halloween05.html. All entrants will be judged on:
