Crucell Announces PER.C6 Licensing Agreement with Tibotec


LEIDEN, Netherlands, Nov. 23, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Dutch biotechnology company Crucell N.V. (Euronext:CRXL) (Nasdaq:CRXL) announced today that it has signed a PER.C6(r) license agreement with Ireland-based Tibotec Pharmaceuticals Ltd. The non-exclusive agreement allows Tibotec to use the PER.C6(r) cell line for research in the field of virology.

Under the terms of the agreement, Tibotec will pay a research license fee, annual maintenance fees and milestone payments. Further financial details were not disclosed.
