INDIANAPOLIS, Dec. 6, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- ATA (ATA Airlines, Inc.), (Pink Sheets:ATAHQ) announces that it will be suspending its service between Chicago-Midway and Ft. Myers, Fla., Orlando, Fla., and San Francisco, after Spring of 2006.
Service to Ft. Myers will end on Sunday, April 23, 2006, service to Orlando will end on Monday, April 24, 2006, and ATA's two daily roundtrips between Chicago-Midway and San Francisco will end on Thursday, April 27, 2006.
Since ATA is not accepting reservations on the Florida routes beyond the effective dates, no booked customers will be impacted. Customers holding tickets on the affected San Francisco routes for travel beyond April 27, 2006 will be contacted by the airline and assisted in booking alternative travel.
