INDIANAPOLIS, Jan. 4, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- ATA Airlines, Inc., the principal subsidiary of ATA Holdings Corp. (Pink Sheets:ATAHQ) today reported that December scheduled service traffic decreased 52.6 percent from 2004 to 432.2 million RPMs (revenue passenger miles). Capacity decreased 56.2 percent compared to 2004 to 570.6 million ASMs (available seat miles). ATA's December scheduled service passenger load factor increased 5.9 points to 75.8 percent. There were 319,860 passengers enplaned in December, a decrease of 56.7 percent.
As of December 31, 2005, ATA has a fleet of 15 Boeing 737-800s, 6 Boeing 757-200s, 6 Boeing 757-300s and five Lockheed L-1011s.
