Digital Descriptor Systems, Inc. and Subsidiary to Display Latest Advanced Security Offerings At TMC 2006 Transportation Technology Exhibition

Will Showcase Tamper-Evident NO-REZ Non-Residue, Self-Voiding Seals and TS4A Air Brake Locks

TAMPA, Fla., Feb. 7, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Digital Descriptor Systems, Inc. (Pink Sheets:DDSI) -- along with its subsidiary CGM Applied Security Technologies -- will showcase its latest transportation security offerings at the Technology and Maintenance Council's 2006 Transportation Technology Exhibition, which begins February 14, in Tampa, Fla.

"Anyone involved in trucking cargo from one location to another knows security must be a primary consideration," says Tony Shupin, president and CEO of DDSI. "At this Transportation Technology Exhibition, we're showing products that address shipment security from multiple perspectives, in terms of both preventing the theft of rigs and in ensuring that if someone breaks into either the trailer or the cargo containers, it will be easily detected."

Digital Descriptor Systems and CGM Applied Security Technologies will be showcasing a full line of products, including the following:

-- NO-REZ non-residue, tamper-evident, self-voiding seals: Ideally suited for use on trailer doors because they leave behind no residue on items they protect, these hi-tech seals cannot be tampered with without leaving behind the indisputable evidence of a "VOID OPEN VOID" messages appearing across the label itself. For shippers who wish to employ a color-coding system, NO-REZ seals are available in blue, red and a wide range of other colors, even when purchased in small lots.

Evidence provided by NO-REZ can be invaluable in informing inspectors and owners that a break-in has occurred. The seals can also play a vital role in greatly reducing the likelihood of dangerous devices or substances being stowed away inside trailers without being detected by authorities.

Printable and easily adaptable to die cutting, NO REZ seals can be used with most conventional label dispensing devices.

-- TS4A air brake locks: Designed to secure tractors from theft, this device literally locks the air line from the air brakes in the tractor. Once installed, the system turns the airbrake safety system into a security device. When the TS4A system is employed, the rig cannot easily be moved until the lock is released.

TS4A air brake locks can be installed over most air brake systems in U.S.-based tractor models produced since 1985.

Located in the Tampa Convention Center, the TMC 2006 Transportation Technology Exhibition runs through February 17. The CGM Applied Security Technologies exhibit will be located at booth No. 609.
