TULSA, Okla., March 10, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Deep Rock Oil & Gas, Inc. (Pink Sheets:DPRK) announced today that it has completed drilling its fourth well at a total depth of 1,440 feet to the Bartlesville formation. Preliminary log results indicate gas shows in the Mulkey formation and oil in the Bartlesville.
Robert Garner, CEO of Deep Rock, stated, "We were surprised by the oil show in the Bartlesville. We assumed that the oil formations were depleted, and that only the gas formations were economic. It may well be more economic to produce this as an oil well rather than a gas well."
