Advanced Plant Pharmaceuticals Announces Director and CTO of World Health Energy ("WHE"), Edwin Zhao, to Attend National Biodiesel Conference & Expo 2007 From February 4-7 in San Antonio, Texas


NEW YORK, Jan. 31, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Advanced Plant Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (OTCBB:APPI) announced today that Mr. Edwin Zhao, Chief Technology Officer and Director of World Health Energy, Inc., will attend the National Biodiesel Conference and Expo 2007 http://www.biodieselconference.com/2007/default.asp. This year's National Biodiesel Conference will have a record number of biodiesel marketers, feedstock growers, fuel distributors, government leaders and biodiesel users attending the three day conference. The National Biodiesel Board is conducting a comprehensive educational program featuring presentations and discussions from the foremost authorities and participants in the rapidly expanding biodiesel industry. Federal and State tax incentives for alternative fuel producers including grants, tax exemptions and tax credits are part of the seminar schedule.

Edwin Zhao, has 30 years of experience in the energy sector and developed WHE's alternative energy business model. From 1983 - 1991 Mr. Zhao was a key member of the team that installed the world's largest supervisory control system in Syncrude Canada Limited in Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada's largest oil company. Mr. Zhao subsequently supervised the installation and commissioning of the Honeywell TDC3000 control systems in Suncor - Fort McMurray, Esso - Cold Lake, and Shell - Peace River.

Mr. Zhao holds numerous awards -- including the Honeywell Canada-wide, Technical Achiever Award in 1988 and the Technical Design Award with Westcoast Energy Transmission, Canada's largest Natural Gas Plant. The Technical Design Award was for redesigning the CSEM (Continuous Stack Emission Monitoring) and was the largest monetary award awarded by Westcoast Energy Transmission at the time of the award. He has advised the government on energy conservation and energy reserve matters and has written several energy audit programs. He worked with the British Columbia Hydro energy division in the study and development of the "Efficient use of Electrical Motors" and wrote a program that was used Canada-wide for the energy audits.

World Health Energy, Inc. plans to use renewable cost-effective agricultural products both domestically and internationally to develop natural alternative fuels. The company continues to work towards a binding financing agreement for $1.2 million financing for the construction of two bio-diesel plants.
