Option release: HEXTECH STOCK INDEX SPECIAL DIVIDEND

On February 13, 2007 TeliaSonera AB Board of Directors have proposed to the AGM a dividend of SEK 6.30 per share. Of this dividend SEK 2.25 is treated as a special dividend in HEXTech stock index.

If the AGM of TeliaSonera AB approves the proposed dividend on April 24, 2007 the special dividend will be included in the indices as a net amount on the ex-date April 25, 2007. The Bank of Finland’s official exchange rate on April 24, 2007 will be used in the adjustment. 

A special dividend is included in the index as a net amount and it is calculated as follows:
 
Net dividend = declared dividend - withholding tax (28 %) 
                     = SEK 2.25 - SEK 0.63 = 1.62 SEK
