mSpot Gives Mobile Phones a Music Remix

Mobile Entertainment Pioneer Helps Carriers Turn Mobile Phones Into Easy-to-Use Music Players; Gives Consumers Anywhere Access to Their Music Libraries

PALO ALTO, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 12, 2007 -- mSpot, a pioneer in mobile music, radio and video entertainment services, today unveiled mSpot Remix, a music player with wireless syncing capabilities that lets consumers use their mobile phones to access and play their PC's music library from anywhere. By overcoming the design limitations of current-generation mobile phones -- limited storage, complicated user interface, and lack of an easy way to manage and sync music and playlists -- mSpot Remix unlocks the music player potential of mobile phones.

"With the announcement of the iPhone, Apple has validated that the future direction of mobile music is converged phone/player devices, and the race is on to grab share in what promises to be a multi-billion dollar industry," said Daren Tsui, co-founder and CEO of mSpot. "While there is no doubt that Apple will provide a great user experience on the iPhone, the reality is that there are already hundreds of millions of music-capable mobile phones in the hands of consumers. mSpot gives carriers a way to turn these phones into user-friendly, well-designed music devices that make it easy for consumers to discover, play and manage their music."

mSpot Remix includes PC music management software and a mobile client that connect over a carrier's network to make every song on the PC available for streaming and wireless syncing.

When a consumer hits "play" from the mSpot Remix mobile client, Remix immediately starts streaming songs while it downloads the track -- and the rest of the playlist -- in the background. Remix then saves the songs to the phone's memory card so that the consumer has access to favorite songs when not connected to the network.

Remix's elegant, easy-to-use mobile music player makes it simple for consumers to use their phone to navigate, select and play any combination of songs or playlists, while it seamlessly manages the process of streaming and downloading to ensure an instant, uninterrupted listening experience -- regardless of whether the songs on the playlist are on the phone or the PC.

mSpot will make Remix available to wireless carriers as an integrated component of its managed mobile music services. By adding Remix's wireless PC-to-mobile syncing capabilities to its turnkey mobile entertainment solutions, mSpot enables carriers to offer a seamless, integrated mobile entertainment experience where consumers can discover, manage, purchase and enjoy music, radio, podcasts, movies, videos and original programming.

mSpot will be demonstrating mSpot Remix at CTIA WIRELESS 2007 in Orlando, Fla., March 27 - 29, 2007. To see Remix in action, visit mSpot in the QUALCOMM booth, #1645.
