Pride International, Inc. Reschedules First Quarter 2007 Earnings Release Date


HOUSTON, May 2, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Pride International, Inc. (NYSE:PDE) announced today that its report of financial results for the three months ended March 31, 2007 and associated conference call originally scheduled for Wednesday, May 2, 2007 have been rescheduled. The Company is now planning to report its first quarter 2007 earnings on Thursday, May 10, 2007. Conference call details, including dial in numbers and confirmation code will be provided.

The Company noted that additional time required to complete its quarterly review necessitated the delay.
