PALO ALTO, CA--(Marketwire - July 31, 2007) - EchoSign (www.echosign.com), the leading
web-based signature automation service, today announced its 200th
enterprise customer for its web-based e-signature service. BT (British
Telecom), Network General, Johnson & Johnson and Brooks-Eckerd are among
EchoSign's enterprise customers.
EchoSign has taken the 'contract close' process from the old paradigm of
efaxes and misplaced emails into a sophisticated, but easy-to-use contract
signature application. Now, organizations can get both external and
internal contacts signed in seconds electronically, or by an automated fax
system that intelligently routes signed copies of each contract to all
parties. In addition, all departments in the enterprise -- sales, finance,
procurement, HR -- get complete and real-time visibility into the signature
status of every external contract sent to the customer, and every signature
required for internal compliance.
"We've been using EchoSign for our employee onboarding process or HR
enrollment process," said Terry Wassman, Vice President, Human Resources,
Cholestech Corp., a leading provider of cholesterol diagnostic testing
products. "Before EchoSign we were using the traditional written
signatures with faxes and spent a lot of time chasing paper. Now, all of
our employees e-sign documents when appropriate, and it has significantly
reduced our internal compliance headache, especially with our employees in
the field."
EchoSign's web-based electronic signature service is also in use by many
leading companies in the on-demand software industry, including LinkedIn,
SuccessFactors, VerticalResponse, Genius, MarketTools, Intacct,
Clickability, Ad Infuse, ProposalPortal, Zango, Return Path, ShareMethods,
Socialtext.
According to John Tinker, Senior Director of Strategic Intelligence for
Zango, an online media company, "Zango works with more than 3,000
advertisers and hundreds of Web publishers and online content providers
every month and EchoSign for salesforce.com has not only sped up the sales
and account management processes, but helped our various teams track our
contracts more easily. Most importantly, our teams have been extremely
impressed with EchoSign's customer service and support."
Already integrated with many industry-leading applications, EchoSign works
with Webex Connect, Salesforce.com, Zoho and Upside Software. EchoSign for
Salesforce.com is one of the five highest-rated applications on
Salesforce.com's AppExchange site. It was also recently named an
'AppExchange Essential,' and is the most-installed online office
application on AppExchange. EchoSign has also been integrated into Zoho's
on-line office suite and Upside Software's contract management solution.
"Our partnership with EchoSign is a natural fit," said Ashif Mawji, CEO
Upside Software. "We've seen significant excitement in our customer base
with our integration of e-signatures into our contract management
solution."
According to Jason Lemkin, CEO, EchoSign, "We're proud to say we are now
helping 200 organizations, and over 80,000 users drive their quote-to-close
times to under an hour. Our rapid customer and partner adoption has been
fueled by the almost instant ROI that comes from dramatically accelerating
the tail-end of the sales process, the 'close.'"
