David S. Lee Joins Symbio's Board of Directors

Lee, the CEO and Founder of eOn Communications, has joined the company's Board of Directors. Mr. Lee will help steer the company through a period of unprecedented growth and exciting expansion of its service offerings. In addition to his extensive background as a senior executive of multinational companies, Mr. Lee brings a wealth of contacts and relationships in the technology and telecommunications communities.

David S. Lee is currently the Chief Executive Officer, President and Board Chairman of eOn Communications. Mr. Lee also serves as a director of Linear Technology Corporation, a semiconductor company, iBasis and Daily Wellness Company. Mr. Lee is also a Senior Advisor to Silver Lake, a leading investment firm for technology. Prior to his current role, Mr. Lee was President and Chairman of Data Technology Corporation, a computer peripheral company. Other phases in his illustrious career include: Group Executive and Chairman of the Business Information Systems Group of ITT Corporation, a diversified multi-national company and President of ITT Qume, formerly Qume Corporation, a computer systems peripherals company. Mr. Lee co-founded Qume Corporation and was its Executive Vice President until the company was acquired by ITT Corporation.

He earned an M.S. from North Dakota State University and a B.S. and an honorary doctorate from Montana State University.

In addition to his many corporate leadership roles, Mr. Lee has contributed in a broad range of public service activities. He recently served as a Regent for the University of California. He has also been a member of the Board of Governors for California Community Colleges. He was an advisor to Presidents Bush and Clinton on the Advisory Committee on Trade Policy and Negotiation (Office of the U.S. Trade Representative/Executive Office of the President) and to former Governor Wilson through the California Economic Development Corporation and the council on California Competitiveness. He was a member of the President's Council on the 21st Century Workforce, appointed by President George W. Bush.
