WEA Corp. Appoints Mitchell Imber, Senior Vice President, Physical Sales

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - October 19, 2007) - WEA Corp., Warner Music Group Corp.'s (NYSE : WMG ) U.S. sales and retail distribution company, announced today that
Mitchell Imber has been appointed to the newly created position of Senior
Vice President, Physical Sales. Based in New York and effective
immediately, Imber will report to Mike Jbara, Executive Vice President and
Chief Operating Officer for WEA Corp.
In his new position, Imber will manage all aspects of WEA Corp., physical
product sales. In addition, he will create and implement company business
and sales strategy and oversee the national sales staff.

Prior to joining WEA Corp., Imber spent seven years at Island Def Jam where
he most recently served as Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing. In
this position, he spearheaded high-impact marketing strategies to introduce
new artists to the marketplace while building new platforms for established
artists. Previously, Imber was Senior Vice President, Sales from 2000 to
2005. During his highly successful tenure, he increased sales for all
markets by designing and executing national sales and marketing strategies.
From 1996 to 2000, Imber served as Vice President, Sales, Special Markets
for Polymedia/Universal, where he was responsible for producing and
directing sales activities to achieve multimillion-dollar results across
all market segments. Before being promoted to Vice President, Sales, he
served as Sales Manager for the New York, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C.
markets from 1991 to 1996.
Imber received his B.A. degree in Business Administration from Ithaca
College.
