Björgólfur Jóhannsson, CEO of Icelandic Group plc., has resigned his position. Björgólfur has been the CEO of the organisation since March 2006. The Board of Icelandic Group has negotiated Björgólfur´s resignation and he will formally leave his position in the middle of January. The Board of Icelandic Group would like to extend its thanks to Björgólfur for his hard work and wish him well in his new carreer.
