Pöyry has been awarded an EPCM (Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management) services contract by Roal Oy for an enzyme plant redevelopment project in Rajamäki, Finland. The value of the contract is about EUR 3 million.
The contract covers project management, engineering, procurement and construction management services for the implementation of the enzyme plant development. The services will be delivered by February 2009. The assignment supports Pöyry's position as a provider of comprehensive engineering and project services to the chemical and process industries.
Roal Oy specialises in the development, production, marketing and distribution of enzymes used in a broad range of food, beverage and feed enzymes. Roal Oy is a joint venture between Altia Oyj, Finland and Associated British Foods plc.
