Vlingo Executives Featured in Keynote Panels at Voice Search Conference

CAMBRIDGE, MA--(Marketwire - March 5, 2008) - Vlingo Corporation today announced that two executives have been selected to participate in keynote panels at the Voice Search Conference 2008 in San Diego from March 10 through 12. Additionally, vlingo executives will also take part in three other sessions throughout the conference.

Founder and chief technology officer Mike Phillips will participate in a technical keynote panel on Monday, March 10 at 8:20 a.m. It will focus on what is different about voice search technology (and what isn't). Panelists will debate key questions defining voice search technology. He will also participate in a technical session at 11:00 a.m. on the same day focused on unstructured search. The session will be oriented toward handling long lists and unstructured or "natural language" search requests.

Grannan will participate in the closing keynote session on March 12 at 3:15 p.m. that will address lessons attendees should take from the conference. It will explore the most important messages for service providers, enterprises, and their vendors from Voice Search. He will also be part of a session on the same day at 9:45 a.m. that will focus on mobility and its impact on new application opportunities such as location-based applications. Grannan will discuss what is holding back mobile applications.

Finally, John Elliott, vice president of sales, will present for vlingo in the Demo Derby on Monday, March 10. He will provide a demonstration of vlingo's voice-powered interface for mobile phones.
