PHOENIX, April 30, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- U-Haul today announced the promotion of Zachary Stokes to District 4 Area District Vice President (ADVP). Stokes brings his proven leadership skills and management experience to his new position, where he will be responsible for overseeing U-Haul operations in Minnesota, Missouri, Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana and Iowa.

Stokes began his U-Haul career in January 2005 as the president of U-Haul Company of Eastern Arizona. Prior to joining U-Haul, Stokes worked as a regional sales manager for Dr Pepper/7 Up, where he managed marketing and sales for the Arizona market. In 1992, Stokes graduated from San Diego State University, with a bachelor's degree in finance.
