Sage CRM Solutions 2010 Strategy Milestones Announced at Sage Software Insights Conference
New Front and Back-Office Integration, Mobile, and Hosted User Options Enhance the Simplicity and Flexibility of the Sage CRM Solutions Product Family
| Quelle: Sage Software
NATIONAL HARBOR, MD--(Marketwire - May 13, 2008) - Sage Insights Conference -- Sage CRM
Solutions, part of the Sage Group plc, today announced initial progress of
its Sage CRM Solutions 2010 strategy (CRM 2010), a comprehensive product
and technology vision announced in March. The strategy guides global
development of the Sage CRM Solutions product family comprised of ACT! by
Sage, Sage CRM, and Sage SalesLogix. Milestones detailed at the Sage
Software Insights North American business partner conference include
embedded Sage CRM within the new Sage MAS 90 and 200 Extended Enterprise
Suites, Sage SalesLogix Mobile v5.1, and a new partner-hosted ACT!
subscription offering.
CRM 2010 recognizes distinct business needs of various CRM user types and
supports them by applying open Web standards to connect front- and
back-office processes, create interoperability with the Sage CRM Solutions
family, and incorporate on-demand capabilities and emerging Web 2.0
technologies to enable the 'anywhere workforce.'
"Initially, our CRM 2010 strategy is focused on simplifying how users
access CRM data," said Joe Bergera, executive vice president and global
general manager, Sage CRM Solutions. "We're delivering on that in three
important ways today. The launch of Sage Software Extended Enterprise
Suites gives CRM users the connected front- and back-office resources they
need to be effective in the sales process. The release of Sage SalesLogix
Mobile 5.1 pushes CRM data as it is updated to users anywhere they are.
And, our new partner-hosted ACT! subscription model enables companies to
easily mix perpetual and subscription licenses within a single workgroup,
providing easy and highly economical access to a central database."
Embedding CRM in the enterprise: Sage Extended Enterprise Suites
In a separate announcement today, Sage Software announced the Sage MAS 90
and 200 Extended Enterprise Suites which include integrated Sage CRM. The
suites combine financial, operational, customer relationship and business
intelligence applications to simplify and integrate business management
processes and workflow across an entire company, giving users access to a
complete and consistent view of the customer relationship. Sage MAS 90 and
200 Extended Enterprise Suites are offered with simple user-based pricing,
a single maintenance program and common support services with one point of
contact for all functionality.
Anywhere access to CRM data: Sage SalesLogix Mobile v5.1
Sage SalesLogix Mobile v5.1 provides out-of-the-box, real-time data
synchronization with Sage SalesLogix and introduces a unified installation
process that simplifies mobile CRM deployment by validating all necessary
system components in minutes. A new administrator status dashboard provides
a complete view of system settings and support services, and an RSS feed
for update notifications and installation. The server edition
supports keyless 60-day trialware so customers can evaluate and pilot the
solution.
Simplified data access for workgroups: Partner-Hosted ACT! Subscriptions
The new partner-hosted ACT! program offers individuals and businesses
subscription-based licensing of the ACT! by Sage Premium for Web product.
Certified partners offer secure 24/7 access to the Web-based ACT! solution
and centralized contact data. The hosted program provides organizations
with price and access method flexibility, allowing mixed deployments of
perpetual and subscription licensed users, as well as migration between
license types, to optimize total cost of ownership and investment
protection.
