Agfa-Gevaert appoints Kris Hoornaert as Chief Financial

Mortsel, Belgium - June 19, 2008 - 10.00 a.m. CET

The Board of Directors of Agfa-Gevaert announced that it has appointed Kris Hoornaert as Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately.

In this function, Kris Hoornaert replaces Anne Vleminckx.

Kris Hoornaert (°1964 - Belgian) held a number of important finance related positions in Inbev from 2000 to 2007, as Controller and as Director mergers and acquisitions. Most recently, he was VP Finance Western Europe.

Kris Hoornaert brings a strong background in finance, controlling and mergers and acquisitions in an international environment and has also an extensive experience in cost reduction programs.
