WaveLight AG with clear increase in sales in the fiscal year 2007/2008
Erlangen, 15 August 2008. WaveLight AG (company address: Am Wolfsmantel 5,
91058 Erlangen; ISIN: DE0005125603) listed in the Prime Standard of the
Deutsche Börse (German Stock Exchange) announces today that the company was
able to achieve a clear sales growth according to the first preliminary
figures until 31 July 2008.
In comparison to the previous year sales of T 70,370 in the areas of
refractive ophthalmology and OEM surgery, the sales of the group in the
fiscal year 2007/2008 will increase by more than 25 percent. Thus, the
sales achieved until 31 July 2008 are clearly more than the expected
planning at the beginning of the fiscal year which assumed a sales growth
of approx. 10 percent.
WaveLight AG will publish its annual financial statement and its group
financial statement for the fiscal year 2007/2008 on 22 October 2008.
