Release of a Voting Rights announcement

On August 21, 2008, Lansdowne UK Equity Fund Limited, George Town, Grand
Cayman, British West Indies, has informed us according to sec. 21 para. 1
of the WpHG that via shares its Voting Rights on Praktiker Bau- und
Heimwerkermärkte Holding AG, Kirkel, Germany, ISIN: DE000A0F6MD5, WKN:
A0F6MD, have fallen below the 3% limit of the Voting Rights on August 19,
2008, and now amount to 2.96% (this corresponds to 1,719,664 Voting
Rights).
On August 22, 2008, Lansdowne Partners Limited Partnership, London, UK, has
informed us according to sec. 21 para. 1 of the WpHG that via shares its
Voting Rights on Praktiker Bau- und Heimwerkermärkte Holding AG, Kirkel,
Germany, ISIN: DE000A0F6MD5, WKN: A0F6MD, have fallen below the 3 % limit
of the Voting Rights on August 21, 2008, and now amount to 2.44 % (this
corresponds to 1,416,729 Voting Rights). These Voting Rights are
attributable to Lansdowne Partners Limited Partnership according to sec. 22
para. 1 sent. 1 No. 6 WpHG. Lansdowne Partners Limited Partnership acts,
among others, for the following fund owning less than 3 %:
Lansdowne UK Equity Fund Limited, George Town, Grand Cayman, British West
Indies.
With the same notification of August 22, 2008, Lansdowne Partners Limited,
London, UK, has informed us according to sec. 21 para. 1 of the WpHG that
via shares its Voting Rights on Praktiker Bau- und Heimwerkermärkte Holding
AG, Kirkel, Germany, ISIN: DE000A0F6MD5, WKN: A0F6MD, have fallen below the
3% limit of the Voting Rights on August 21, 2008, and now amount to 2.44 %
(this corresponds to 1,416,729 Voting Rights). These Voting Rights are
attributable to Lansdowne Partners Limited according to sec. 22 para. 1
sent 1 No. 6, sent 2, 3 WpHG. The above Voting Rights are, among others,
attributable to Lansdowne Partners Limited through the following fund
owning less than 3 %:
