PÖYRY AWARDED EUR 1.7 MILLION RAILWAY ENGINEERING ASSIGNMENT IN BULGARIA
 
Pöyry has been awarded two engineering contracts by the Ministry of Transport of Bulgaria for technical assistance for the modernization of the railway line along the Sofia - Dragoman and Sofia - Pernik - Radomir sections in Bulgaria. The value of the contracts is EUR 1.7 million.
 
The project objective is rehabilitation of the 53.3 km section Sofia - Dragoman and the 97.4 km section Sofia - Pernik - Radomir. Pöyry's services include preliminary investment analysis, a feasibility study, and technical design for the purposes of obtaining approval.
 
This assignment continues to strengthen Pöyry's position in the strongly growing transportation markets of Eastern Europe.
