ITASCA, IL--(Marketwire - August 28, 2008) - First Midwest Bancorp, Inc. ("First Midwest")
(NASDAQ : FMBI ) today announced that it will be participating in the Lehman
Brothers Global Financial Services Conference to be held in New York, New
York on September 8-10, 2008. Michael L. Scudder, First Midwest's
President and Chief Operating Officer, and Michael J. Kozak, First
Midwest's Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer, will represent
the company at the Conference at 4:00 PM (ET) on Monday, September 8, 2008.
