RE: Resignation of Dr. Chris Gilchrist
Kenmare Resources plc announces that it has accepted the resignation of Dr. Chris Gilchrist as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Director of the Company, for personal reasons.
Mr. Terence Fitzpatrick, Director, will take on the role of COO in an acting capacity. He is a highly experienced engineering manager, who has been associated with the Company since 1990.
Charles Carvill, Chairman, said: "We are very grateful to Chris for his services to the Company since 2004, and we understand and appreciate the personal reasons behind his departure. Chris has been involved in the Moma Mineral Sands Mine during a critical time, from construction to production, and has made a valuable contribution to its development. We wish him well for the future."
