U.S. RE Names Marrone VP-Controller

PEARL RIVER, NY--(Marketwire - September 22, 2008) - Michael T. Marrone, CPA, has been named Vice President-Controller, at U.S. RE Companies, Inc., the international financial services firm, Richard Davies, Senior Vice President-Chief Financial Officer, announced.

Marrone joined U.S. RE four years ago as Controller after holding accounting and financial management positions at Munich American Reinsurance Company, Beth Israel Medical Center, Country-Wide Insurance Company, Broadview Network Services, and other New York companies.

U.S. RE recently expanded its European operations with formation of Euro RE, Aps, licensed by the European Union to do business across the Continent, and opened an office in Mauritius to serve the growing African market. Marrone is a Certified Public Accountant. He holds an MBA in Finance and a BS in Accounting from Long Island University.
