- Samson eignarhaldsfélag applied to the District Court of Reykjavík that the company will be allowed to enter a moratorium process

The Board of Directors of Samson eignarhaldsfélag ehf. requested today, October
7th 2008, to the District Court of Reykjavík that the company be allowed to
enter into a moratorium process. The request was processed at 15:00 and the
company authorized to enter into a moratorium process valid until 15:00 on
October 28th. Gunnar Sturluson, advocate to the Supreme Court of Iceland, was
appointed administrator.
