NOTIFICATION OF CHANGE IN HOLDINGS UNDER CHAPTER 2, SECTION 9 OF THE FINNISH
SECURITIES MARKET ACT 

Suomen Terveystalo Oyj has on 13 October 2008 gained knowledge of the following
notification under Chapter 2, Section 9 of the Finnish Securities 
Market Act regarding a possible change in holdings:

According to the announcement of Ilmarinen Mutual Pension Insurance Company,
the company´s ownership in Suomen Terveystalo Oyj´s shares will exceed 10
percent (1/10). 

The holdings of Ilmarinen Mutual Pension Insurance Company will constitute a
total of 11,354,899 Suomen Terveystalo Oyj´s shares, i.e., 14.0 percent of the
share capital and voting rights in Suomen Terveystalo Oyj after the shares that
were issued in the rights issue have been registered with the Trade Register on
or about October 15, 2008. 

The share capital of Suomen Terveystalo Oyj constitutes 81,106,421 shares and
voting rights after the shares that were issued in the rights issue have been
registered with the Trade Register on or about October 15, 2008.
