The GSMA is the trade group for the mobile industry, representing more than 750 mobile networks across 218 countries and its Mobile Asia Awards program recognizes outstanding growth, innovation and leadership across Asia's mobile industry.
Participants in the Best Mobile Music, TV or Video Service category must create, develop or deliver innovative mobile music, TV or video services content that ultimately delivers a compelling multimedia to users that drives new revenue streams and demonstrates widespread take up of exciting new services -- in all, providing a new level of entertainment experience for mobile users in Asia. Five entries are short-listed in this category this year, with one winner to be announced at the Mobile Asia Congress in Macau on November 18, 2008.
