RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL--(Marketwire - November 25, 2008) - MMX Mineração e Metálicos S.A. (BOVESPA: MMXM3) (TSX: XMM) informs its shareholders and the market that it has verified a misinterpretation in the calculation of EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Equity and Amortization) announced in the 3rd Quarter Earnings Release published on November 14, 2008.

This amendment has been made to exclude the goodwill amortization amount -- reflective of the acquisition by MMX's subsidiary MMX Sudeste of AVG and Minerminas.
