ROCLA CONCLUDES THE NEGOTIATIONS ABOUT THE TEMPORARY LAY-OFFS
Rocla Group concluded the negotiations started on Nov 18, 2008 about the
lay-offs of the personnel in the business units located in Finland. As published
earlier, it was decided that the lay-offs concern the whole personnel in Finland
(430 employees) for 40 days at maximum until the end of September 2009.
The lay-off periods will mainly commence from January 5, 2009. It was agreed
locally that employees can choose to allocate part of the maximum 40 days for
the period from Dec 22, 2008 to Jan 9, 2009, depending on the work situation.
In spite of the adjustment measures, Rocla aims at ensuring especially the
resources for the direct customer service. Thus, the maximum lay-offs for
employees in these tasks are estimated to be less than 40 days.
