R&D events in China, the USA and Switzerland The past few months have seen a lot of important events in the field of research and development at Nestlé: on November 18 we opened an R&D centre in Solon, USA, devoted to the out-of-home business and on October 31 we opened an R&D centre in Beijing, China. And finally, on November 27 2008 we held a Nestlé International Nutrition Symposium Media Day in the research centre near Lausanne, Switzerland, dedicated to telling the story of nutrition in athletic performance. You can follow the webcasts or subscribe to the podcasts. One high point of the event was an inspirational presentation by David Hemery, Olympic 400 metres hurdles champion in Mexico 1968.
