Paradigm Management Services Announces New Vice President of Account Services

CONCORD, CA--(Marketwire - January 19, 2009) - Paradigm Management Services, the nation's leading provider of catastrophic and complex medical management services, today announced that Carol A. Novoa, CPDM, has joined the company as the Vice President of Account Services. In her role, Carol will lead the client service division in delivering exceptional client account management, developing and implementing growth strategies, and contributing to sales and marketing efforts for Paradigm nationally.

Carol joins Paradigm with 25 years of experience in the insurance industry in a variety of roles including sales and marketing, management consulting, client relationship management, and claims and disability management in both workers' compensation and group disability. Most recently, Carol was Director of Disability Sales for the West and Southwest regions at MetLife Insurance Co. There she supported the commercial Small Group, Mid/Large Group, and National Accounts sales and marketing teams.

Previously, Carol was the National Accounts Sales Manager, West Region, for CIGNA Group Insurance where she sold the company's commercial group disability insurance products to the national accounts market segment. Before joining CIGNA, Carol spent 15 years in management consulting for Fortune 500 clients as a Practice Leader at Towers Perrin, Deloitte & Touche, and Marsh, Inc. where she specialized in workers' compensation, integrated disability management, risk management, claims and managed care.
