MORE THAN 94 PER CENT OF SHARES TENDERED IN STAR HEALTHCARE'S PUBLIC TENDER
OFFER FOR TERVEYSTALO 

Terveystalo Healthcare Oyj has on 16 February 2009 received information that
Star Healthcare Oy has today been informed that shareholders representing more
than 94 per cent of the shares and voting rights in Terveystalo have accepted
the Tender Offer that has done by Star Healthcare Oy to purchase all of the
issued and outstanding shares in Terveystalo Healthcare Oyj that are not owned
by Terveystalo and option rights in Terveystalo. Based on information currently
available, the condition to completion concerning the 90 per cent acceptance
level has thus been fulfilled.

MORE THAN 94 PER CENT OF SHARES TENDERED IN STAR HEALTHCARE'S PUBLIC TENDER
OFFER FOR TERVEYSTALO 

The offer period under Star Healthcare Oy's ("Star Healthcare") public tender
offer to purchase all of the issued and outstanding shares in Terveystalo
Healthcare Oyj ("Terveystalo") that are not owned by Terveystalo and option
rights in Terveystalo (the "Tender Offer") commenced on 26 January 2009 and
expired today at 4:00 p.m.(Finnish time). 

The completion of the Tender Offer is subject to the fulfilment or, where
permitted, waiver of the conditions to completion set out in the tender offer
document, including the valid tender of shares representing more than 90 per
cent of the issued and outstanding shares and voting rights in Terveystalo.
Star Healthcare has today been informed that shareholders representing more
than 94 per cent of the shares and voting rights in Terveystalo have accepted
the Tender Offer. Based on information currently available, the condition to
completion concerning the 90 per cent acceptance level has thus been fulfilled. 

As announced earlier, the condition to completion concerning the receipt of
necessary approvals has been fulfilled on 29 January 2009. 

The completion of the Tender Offer is still subject to the fulfilment of all
the conditions to completion set out in the tender offer document at the time
when the final result of the Tender Offer is confirmed. The preliminary result
of the Tender Offer will be announced on 17 February 2009 and the final result
on or about 19 February 2009.
