PIMCO Floating Rate Income Fund Declares Common Share Dividend for March 2009


NEW YORK, March 23, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- PIMCO Floating Rate Income Fund (NYSE:PFL) (the "Fund") announced today it has declared the following dividend on the Fund's common shares, which consists of the monthly dividend amount that was scheduled to have been declared on March 6, 2009, but was previously postponed.

PIMCO Floating Rate Income Fund: $0.09280 per common share

The dividend will be payable on April 9, 2009 to shareholders of record on April 2, 2009, with an ex-dividend date of March 31, 2009.

PFL's investment objective is to seek high current income, consistent with the preservation of capital. There can be no assurance that the Fund will meet its objective.
