Moscow City boosts performance with QPR ScoreCard
Prefecture of central administrative district of Moscow has implemented QPR
Software Plc's performance management software QPR ScoreCard for managing its
performance. The final decision was made after a successful test of 5 months.
QPR Scorecard will be part of prefecture's integrated real-time management
system.
With QPR ScoreCard the executive authorities of the prefecture manage, control
and analyze in real-time the key indicators including the solutions for tactical
schemes and strategic goals of the district's development. In the first phase
the integrated real-time management system is used by prefecture's executive
authorities. The use will be expanded to entire management later.
The Prefecture of central administrative district is one of the 10 prefectures
of Moscow. It is responsible for providing local government service to the heart
of Moscow with almost 1 million permanent inhabitants, and almost 4 million
daily visitors. The Prefecture is also domicile for Russian Federation's central
administrative organs, like the house of Parliament.
QPR was chosen thanks to its balanced scorecard approach, easiness of use, good
price and quality ratio, and last but not least due to good customer support.
The automated management system was delivered by the State Unitary Enterprise of
Moscow - GNPP Granit-Center and QPR's partner in Russian Federation, Trodos
Consulting. Trodos consulted in QPR ScoreCard implementation, organized seminars
and supplied resources during the implementation process.
“For QPR gaining the confidence of Prefecture of central administrative district
of Moscow is a major milestone in the strategically important Russian Federation
market. We are already providing our solutions and software to more than 20
Russian corporate customers like TNK-BP, the biggest mobile operator MTS,
Probusinessbank and Sibur or international companies operating in Russia like
Nestlé and StoraEnso. The Prefecture is now our first public sector customer in
the Russian Federation, and of course we would not have had better start than
the capital of this large country”, says Mr. Jari Jaakkola, CEO at QPR Software
Plc.
QPR has gained a strong position in the public and local government sectors. In
Finland the majority of cities and councils as well as many councils in Ireland,
The Netherlands, Poland, United Kingdom, Sweden and South Africa has chosen
QPR''s software and solutions for their process development, risk management and
compliance. In addition, the joint organization for Finnish council's
