Popular KFNX 1100 AM News Talk Radio Program, Energy Dynamics, Announced That the Show Will Feature the Arizona Solar Power Society on Saturday, May 2nd at 10:00 am

PHOENIX, AZ--(Marketwire - May 1, 2009) - The Energy Dynamics news talk radio program, hosted by energy expert Stan Hexom, announced today that the 10:00 am program on Saturday, May 2nd will focus on building a solar industry in Arizona. The show will feature two guest speakers from the solar industry: David Spotts, president of the Solar Engineering Group, and Robert Hoskins, organizer of the Arizona Solar Power Society.

"Most people do not realize that in 2009 alone there is more than $185 million worth of energy efficiency and renewable energy incentives and rebates waiting for businesses and consumers at leading utility companies such as APS, SRP, TEP, and Unisource," said Stan Hexom, the Energy Dynamics Host. On April 21, the Arizona Republic printed a story that reported "SRP pays customers $3,000 per kilowatt of energy-producing capacity for solar-electricity systems on homes now, but will reduce that to $2,700 per kilowatt effective June 1, and less each year through 2014. SRP limits the size to 5 kilowatts from 20 kilowatts."

In addition to discussing important utility programs, Robert Hoskins from the Arizona Solar Power Society plans to inform listeners about three basics steps of reducing energy consumption through energy efficiency products and solar thermal water heaters, and then using solar power systems to zero out a building's electricity bill by installing a solar power system.

David Spotts with the Solar Engineering Group will cover other important news topics such as what the step-by-step process is for working with a solar installation company to analyze building energy usage, generating a quote for a solar installation and what the return on investment is for customers who can afford to install a solar power system.
